rear end info?

Has anybody here setup their own rear end, using a dial indicator for back lash/pinion depth and had good resoults. If so I would like to hear about how you did it. I'm interested in getting the tools and learning how to setup my own rear ends.

I'm guessing there is not alot of people out there who knows how to setup their own rear end. I would really like to know some info, is there anybody I could call or any where I could look to find an answer. Thanks Ian

I did it on my 10-bolt. All I did was change the gear to a Richmond gear set. Just follow their and a car manual instruction. I got lucky and have the contact paste show properly on the ring gear.
