Rear End Help
Rear End Help Hello:
Today I grenaded my rear end at the track. I have a 99 formula M6 with no TCS and 3 channel ABS. I was wondering if I could swap in a rear from a 00 SS A4 with TCS and 4 channel ABS. Will it work to get me from here to there while I save for a 12 bolt? I could care less about my speedo being off or a ABS light.What kind of problems will I run into if I can swap? Will the brakes and backing plates swap over? Thanks in advance for your replies.

Re: Rear End Help why would your ABS be any differnet from the new rear. you could get a v6 rear with a POSI and it would be exactly the same as the one you have. i dunno what all this 3 channel and 4 channel stuff is. but BTW rear end swap is easy, but time consuming. make sure you have help cause rear is heavy and make sure you get everything tight after new rear is in place.
