possible that I broke a tooth? The other day I somehow slightly chirped 5th when I shifted into it a little hard after having some fun on an on-ramp. I was/am thinking that it was just because of a weird spot on the road or something because due to a lot of truck traffic, the freeway through my city is pretty banged up. However, I was talking to a friend of mine and he seems to think I may have sheared a tooth off of one of the gears in the rear end. I think this is pretty unlikely because 1.) How in the world would 5th hit the rear hard enough to break something? and 2.) The next time I got on an on-ramp I went WOT and speed shifted with no issues whatsoever, then today I was driving the car a little more "spirited" than normal to see if I got any signs of a problem and nothing showed up. Just wondering what you guys think about it.
i chipped my 4.10s pretty good a few weeks ago, it got so bad tht i could only drive it about 5 feet and the rear would lock up, i had to eventaully get it towed to a shop 
....if its driveing fine thn it should b okay...however the only way to really find out is if u pull the cover on the rear and take a look
