My thoughts on the 10 bolt. Not that it means anything, but after i pulled mine out (to replace it with a 9"), i had to pull the axles to take off the caliper brackets, when i pulled the cover off, i was SHOCKED & of coarse laughed my *** off when i saw how small that ring gear was 
, it looks like something from a Toyota or Nissan, i am so glad i didn't choose to leave it in, granted, i'm running a M6, but still. Now i "can" see why the axles hold up, they are thick, but that 3rd. member is no match, just my 2 cents
