Borg Warner 6 speeds Ok another question(haha bet im getting anoying by now).
A friend of mine can source me a Borg Warner 6 speed gearbox(well can source alot actually).. they're T56 build from memmory(can this be confirmed?).. so im guessing they're just as strong then(bullet proof lil things they are).
Price is around AU$1700 per gearbox.. this a good price? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
and no they aren't stolen

Re: Borg Warner 6 speeds If it is a T-56, just make sure that it is not a Viper gearbox (different input shaft). It also may be for a Holden of some sort (not real familiar with the entire Holden line...I just wish they would import them all here to the US), but if it is a GM box (you may want to check the dealer for the actual part numbers for the F-body gearboxes) it will likely fit (but I'd verify part numbers)....also, the new gearboxes say "Tremec" on the side (passengers side, right below the shifter). I expect to pay about $1800 us for a new (and $750 to $1000 for a used T-56 in the US....). Hope this info helps....
