Default Gear Brand Choice?

First off yes I know the stronger the gear (more nickel) the louder it gets. I have a 12 bolt Moser :-( and I have had 2 different ratios in it now, 3:42 and 3:90 both Richmond, I have hated the howl of the 3:90s from day one, they were setup 5 times and could never make them better. While the 3:90s in my A4 car are a lot of fun for making smoke from the tires I really do not care for the noise. So I am going to drop down to 3:73 and hope to get some of my traction back and be able to listen to the radio while driving. What brand gears are a good compromise for strength and low noise? keep in mind this is for a 12 bolt.

thanks

well.....I have Richmond 3.73s in my 10 bolt...they also whine a little. Its nothing that the exhaust and sterio can't overcome <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> . I really don't even notice it anymore unless the tops are on, I'm in 6th (engine is quiet), and I'm really listening for sounds.

Motive gears, or Yukon, or Moser.
