Help:Tranny issue it wont shift ?'s. Just installed a new longblock into my car,but I think me and my bud might have messed something up.Tranny is not shifting at all.I have did a search and found out that you have to use Dextron III only.Is this true?We didn't use Dextron III.Is this the reason for it not shifting?I also cant recall if we filled the converter with oil.Help

I had no gears like you described... Had to rebuild the whole tranny and get the convertor hub repaired as well as change the front pump...... <img border="0" alt="[cry]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cry.gif" />

Re: Help:Tranny issue it wont shift ?'s. Nope.I freind of mine suggested to take the tranny pan off.To see if the pick up thing might have fallen off.
