Star Spec IV Questions. **HELP**

Star Spec IV Questions. **HELP** I am using the supplied flywheel, so is the shim needed?
Stock hydralics are supposed to work with this particular model, I read it alot on here. I just need to make sure this is still true. My mechanic is doing the drill mod by the way. Can I please get some input on this install. The car is in pieces, and my mechanic is asking alot of questions!!!!

Re: Star Spec IV Questions. **HELP** Use the shim - especially with stock hydraulics. I am using stock hydraulics on my car now (2000 master with new slave) and everything is perfectly fine.

Re: Star Spec IV Questions. **HELP** Thanks for the reply. My **** retentive nature made me place a call to Thunder Racing, and I just ordered the McLeod Adjustable Master, Updated GM Slave, and even a new pilot bearing. All coming tomarrow.
That was a quick $400 bucks!!!!! Once again the gods of speed have emptied my wallet!!!! I should take up crack smoking, instead of drag racing. Its cheaper, and you meet such nice people in crack houses. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />
