sticking in third gear? when the car is under load from second to third gear i have a problem getting it into third gear and then it seems that when i force it into gear it sticks and i have to pull it out hard. this doesn't happen all the time thou. any help would be great.

Re: sticking in third gear? sounds like a bent or worn 3-4 shift fork bro'. just my opinion. i installed a ripper shifter. about two months after the install i shifted to hard into 3rd bending the 3-4 shift fork. it would go into gear but as soon as you let the clutch out it would pop out. when it did go intl gear fine, it was hard to come out. lesson learned was, "install the shift stops next time!" luckly gm replaced the shift forks for free and i upgraded to the vipers steel shift forks instead of the aluminum shift forks that come in the f-body and vette.
