Pinion angle check please!

Pinion angle check please! If I have a transmission output shaft angle of -3 degrees ( pointing down ) and a differential pinion yoke angle of +1.5 degrees ( pointing up ), I than should have a pinion angle of -1.5 degrees correct? Pretty sure this is right, but I always get mixed up when setting these angles up. No driveshaft in right now as that just confuses the issue even more for me.
