If they are 10 bolt gears then you have to remember 2 things about them. If your car is stock you'll be fine with 4.10s etc. When you start added more power you will probably break some teeth off the gears eventually. It happened to 3 different sets of 4.10 gears in my 10 bolt. Second, the noise the gears make has ALOT to do with the skill level of the mechanic installing them. But usually with the bigger gear the noise level will increase a little.
If you are talking about 12 bolt gears then just worry about the installation of them etc.
