Picture 3 CNC stations, station 1 does the left hand differential bore, station 2 does the front and rear pinion bore with seal, and station 3 does the right hand differential bore. The center section is clamped by the cover pan and located by the 2 holes that feed oil into the tubes. Now everything has been finished by cnc but the 5 bores, the finishers all use one insert and cut ellipitical then are air gaged to with in 19 microns. 2 parts are CMM'ed per 8 hours and kept with in a thousand or each other tollerence.
