this is the e-mail i sent to eaton
"i am going to be getting a 9inch put into my 98 camaro and was wondering
about the true track diff..... what is the power holding abbility of
this carrier..... i am talkin dumping the clutch at 5500 with a 700rwhp
3900lb car"

Dear Mr. Cook,
Thank you for your interest in Eaton differentials. Even though the
Truetrac is the strongest limited slip available for the Ford 9" axle,
for your application you will need a Detroit Locker. Most of the reason
is that I do not think that a 31 spline axle shaft will last in your
case. And the (besides a spool) the Detroit Locker is the only
mechanical differential available for 35 spline axles.

the spool has the least amount of parts to break ...and if your not driving that much any more than just get .. i think you said you were not driving at much in another post right ..so don't worry about it 
Noice he said the axles are the week link. Are you running stock axles or aftermarket because I can give you strength numbers all day long on a set of 31 spline Moser Axles.
