So I'm starting my search for a 2010+ camaro that I would like to turn into a street/strip car.

Any recommendations on which engine I should be looking for?

My main question is about trans. I see some people swapping in a TH400 or a 4l60 in? Can these 6speeds not handle much horsepower? I'm a big fan of reverse valve body's?

I'd like to build up to 7-800 horse eventually single turbo.

I like the idea of a standard tranny but I'd probably switch to auto for drag racing eventually.

Just trying to figure out what case vehicle I should be looking for.
