4L80e flexplate
So I have a 2010 Camaro SS with an LS3 and 4L80e. I had a rear main seal leak so I pulled the trans to fix it. While I had the flexplate off I notice that the bolt hole for the torque converter were gouged. I’m not a big fan of pulling the trans so I went ahead and bought a new flexplate. I bought the TCI399754 which I am told is the correct one and is also the same one Dietcoke used in his conversion. However the old flexplate used an adapter and I am told I do not need it or the spacer. Anybody have experience with this flexplate and does it truly bolt on with no issues.

Well in case someone else is looking for the answer you do bolt the flywheel straight to the crank without using the spacer that comes with it. The spacer is for a LS to turbo 400 or 350. I did how wet need to shim the converter for it to work correctly.
