Talking from Camaro5...

Hi guys, i didn't even know this site existed...just became a member today...I couldn't believe bashing jannetty! All they get is praise on camaro5, I also see a lot of other things i couldn't believe....anyways I went by every bodies advice there and this is my setup, want to know if i went wrong anywhere..

2012 Camaro 2SS/RS
Pfadt Lowering Springs 1.25" with Aggressive street alignment
Stainless Power Long Tube Headers
Stainless Works Retro Chambered Catback
Cold Air Inductions Cold Air Intake
VMax Throttle Body
Jannetty Remote Tune

Anything I could of done better, or anything I should still do?....and I realize you guys must not like the last one haha, but which would be the best tune to get in your opinion?

Thank you!

It's not about who you chose for a tune. A lot of us drank the kool aid. There is another side to Jannetty. For all our bashing that's all we were trying to do. Get the word out. For bolton his tunes are ok I think. Your more then likely leaving power on the table though as proved by others. For any power adder I think he's out of his league.

Your setup looks fine

ahh gotcha so if there is "power being left on the table" what would be the ideal solution?

Ideal solution is dyno/street tune.

If that's not an option there are better remote tuners out there. Bad part is Ted is the only major player that uses SCT. You'd have to ditch it. He has a great marketing strategy "Buy parts from me get tunes for free". That coupled with he's only guy using it corners the market for him. What people don't realize is his prices are all msrp. Your not getting it for free. You can find parts cheaper. It all works works out the same. A shop's not going to charge you full dyno price for parts added.

What would be the better remote tuners out there?
Do you think it would be at all worth it to ditch the SCT and find a good dyno? Any good ones in Connecticut?

sorry this is just all completely new to me coming from that site

Your in Connecticut and never heard of Slowhawk? Do some research on him this site and other LSx motor sites. Then research Jannetty on same sites. You can even take our reviews of Jannetty out of the equation. Slowhawk's been doing the LS motors from the start. Where was Jannetty before the 5th Gen?

Then you can draw your own conclusions without any peer presure

I will share my experience with EFI-Live remote tuning. I have been using GPI=Rhino79 since my car had 200miles. I have a bolt-on L99 thats in the 11s again all this was done remote tuned very easy to do. He is a sponsor here as well and IMO he is one of those that has the most experience with VVT also. SCT is more of a Ford and Dodge tuning tool and it is NOT better than EFI-Live and HP-Tuners. But like mentioned do research my friend
