The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
From what I've read and been told by the people I've talked to, the Maggie is a hard core street racing supercharger. I just didn't like the belt set up in the back driving the opposite screw. I work with 7 150hp Ingersoll Rand air compressors and couldn't imagine a belt turning the driven screw. Maybe I'm wrong about the supercharger application for this, but I have to think the screws must slam into each other a little when you let up on the throttle after WOT just from the belt tension-er picking up the slack.
If anyone has first hand working experience with the Maggie I would like to hear it. I'm still a month away from getting an install and would take real world experience or my theories any day.

The TVS can make big power, but it needs to spin very fast which leads to alot of heat and needs some upgrades to keep it under control.
Jannety Racing has a couple of upgrades for the TVS.

It would depends on your HP goal.
For a late model Camaro, any of the popular PD blowers out there will work great at 600HP.But if you want to push it at 700HP. The whipple would get you there cheaper $$$$$ and less heat issues compare to the TVS.
I have a TVS in my truck and love it.But for my Camaro I'm leaning towards the Whipple for a PD setup or may go centri style.Still up in the air......
As far as I know, only the TVS has a rear belt driven setup that can be upgraded as a overdrived or cog drive. The whipple is an enclosed gear setup for the rear.
