Swapover the head unit, aftercooler, and lower. Reroute some hoses and call it good?

no, but all they would have to do to make it work is change pulley location.. it wouldnt be that hard...there are two platforms running that engine, well over 30,000 cars sold with it... they could put forth a little effort..
