Default Engine Replacement

Thinking about engine replacement right now and I’m kind of stuck. I found a 2011 Chevrolet Camaro engine that looks decent, but I’m not sure if it’s worth the gamble. Seller says it’s low miles, but you know how that goes—hard to trust without compression numbers or at least a video of it running.
Has anyone here gone through a swap with one of these? Just trying to get some real opinions before I drop the cash and end up with more problems than I started with.

Hearing and seeing the engine run and driving the car is paramount in making a decison on whether or not to buy a car. A compression and vacuum test can tell you if you have a healthy engine.
