GM is shipping them this week I was off yesterday but saw this email this morning and thought I would pass it along....
"Green Light Received for Camaro Ship to Commerce
This past Friday, the all new Camaro received clearance for “ship to commerce.” Starting this week, the various models that have been produced since March 16, 2009, will start their journey to dealers across the country.
Included in the models to be released will be the “one per” Camaro LT units for each dealer in the country. As discussed in the March 16 launch update, these LT models will be assigned to dealers based on the ramps serving the largest dealer areas with the farthest average travel time from Oshawa, Canada. Assignments will be random, and cannot be changed. The first assignments will start this week and continue for the next three to four weeks. Upon assignment, dealers can check their "in-inventory" tab to verify the Camaro LT unit they will receive. The expectations are that each eligible dealer will receive their unit by May 6, 2009.
Also within these first shipments will be a number of sold Camaro SS orders. Anticipation for these first sold orders is very high, and dealers should be encouraged to deliver these vehicles to customers as quickly as possible, including prior to the May 6 unveiling activities."

There will be at least 2 auto-racks loaded with new Camaros to be unloaded out at Wentzville, MO tonight.
