First off, I love Chevys and have two, one, Arctic White 2000 SS, two, dark metalic Blue 2006 Trailblazer DD. My congrats to you man! You are just sharing the important info. to everyone that if you are going to buy a first year brand new vehicle, expect the worse! Also, that goes to show that in every brand, there could be problems. I believe that European and foreign is built allot better than American and that is a known fact.

It is good info. I just think it is funny that the same media hasn't reported the electrical problems in the prius that has caused uncontrollable cars and accidents. The problem is a freyed wire with 40 miles sounds more like damage caused by shipping. Still would never buy a first year car tho. Oh and last I saw toyota got a reliability downgrade and europian cars are the least reliable minus the lux versions, but they better get that right anyway IMO.

common misconception, Lexus had one of the worlds largest recalls in history, we don't know about it tho because they hid it, and made it an "attractive" recall to the owners, it was their first year in on the table in the u.s sooooo import market does have problems they just cover it up, ie; my wifes new 2009 honda accord, lol, first day out we had problems. either way, i want the new camaro lol

Silent recalls are much more common with Foreign manufacturers than ours. Hate to say it is our Left leaning media that is responsible for much of this, but that is likely the case. Anything Foreign and Socialist is what they strive for.

I don't care much for Jalopnik. They have been kind of dicks about the Camaro, IMO. I rememver when everyone was posting great stuff about the Camaro when GM let the press start testing them, Jalopnik was really nit picky, and negative more than necessary

WTF ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?? LOL!!!!! Who let "slanthead" Hannity on here lol?!?! The media rarely touches specific automotive issues. There is such a thing as an automotive press. But I doubt they have any political bias nor would it be relevant if they did. I hope that a new car losing power is recorded and passed on to other dealerships for future reference. I dont think thats a vote for a democratic political contender as well lol!

1st year bugs? Bullsh*t! I mean GM had a verrry LONG 4 years to work out the obvious bugs like this. This disappoints me. I dont want to be a downer, but its the same ole thing... with a LOT higher price tag.
