Hows The 2010 Camaro Doing...?
You can expect the next couple years Camaro's will have high production #'s, as everyone who wants to wait a year for them to get the kinks worked out will pick up the '11/'12s.
I live about 1.5 hour drive from the Oshawa, Ontario plant where they are all manufactured. Certainly, the camaro has made an impact in the town. Oshawa is pretty much built around the GM Plant there, as it employs 60+% of the town's population.
Camaro's are completely sold out in our area. Despite the fact that they are built so close, we canadians dont seem to get priority on them
The one great thing about the car is it brings people in, people stop to look at them and end up looking at Malibus or Impalas, which is good.
PS we don't mark them up, we just prefer to sell it local so people see it driving around.
The Orange one was nice, got to see it driving around the dealership, and the Black one blasts up and down I-75 in the saginaw to flint area...don't think that one is stock at this time....
The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
We read about them. I could figure out how the car should run and drive based on the G8. We went to car shows. We picked a color and options and ordered one. It arrived, wife drives it. The car drives like no other car. After all it's a 2010. Not many 2010 on the road in 2009. If you want one go buy it. Some folks will race theirs others will enjoy owning another new car. I'll be a little sick the first time I see one just like our stock 2SS.
This car isn't a race car. July 3rd. I'll be going to watch race cars. Some are even older F's. Most folks won't make this car a daily driver. No one abused my car before I bought it. Hopefully Chevrolet dealers won't allow too many folks to climb through and TEST this car before someone buys it. If you don't have a 2SS surely you can count to 13. That's about the length of time it take to complete the 1/4 mile.
I see a different Challenger once a week, a G8 maybe every two weeks, 05-09 Mustangs every day, lots of F-bodies, a few LSX GTOs each week and you can't throw a rock without hitting a 300 or Charger.
So I guess everyone buying those Camaros are just garaging them. Challenger owners here seem to be driving and enjoying their rides.

I haven't seen any 2010 Camaros here in the outskirts of Atlanta yet and still on the lookout. Like TriShield, I see mostly Mustangs and Chargers, A G8 every other week, and the fewest being the new Challenger.
