Surely you jest. I own an 05 GT I'm just saying that you can pretty much predict what most ppl on this site will say on this poll.......simply because you're putting a Mustang up against a Camaro (doesn't matter what the category of comparison is). Bias is sure to rear its head. But hey, some guys in this thread actually gave the 2010 Stang some props, so I guess it's not all one sided here at the Tech.

 

I dont like the new rear end of the Mustang, so ill give the Camaro the win for exterior. Interior, Mustang takes it as it kinda always has. Ford seems to deliver nicely for the most part with the interior's.

 

I would agree, dont really like the rear of the new camaros but i think its still better looking then the new rear of the Mustangs. The rest of the camaro looks great to me though.

 

Ive seen both in person ill take the CAMARO hands down, pictures dont do the car justice trust me..

 

I would have to disagree. Only since '05 has the Mustang had an interior that can be labelled nice since 1969.

i like the v6 body more for some reason, mustnag has never done anyhting for me, not the new ones or the old ones. if i won or somebody gave me a v8mustang. i would sell it and collect the rest of the funds to buy a 2010 camaro or even a v6

Both cars are pretty nice lookin actually. Ive seen some black 2010 GT's with the stock gun metal looking rims and I broke neck. Id say the stang performs pretty good for only having 315hp too. This is kind of off topic to but I think GM is doing a horrible job with the Camaros availability. Where I live there is a chevy and ford dealership within minutes of each other, I drive past the chevy dealership and see one vette and a ton of malibus and so on. I drive past the ford dealership and it almost looks like some one ripped open a giant bag of mustangs in the front of the ford dealership.

 

^^^^ Your saying a carlot of one particular car is a good thing? Remember the Camaro is outselling the Mustang bud.

 

That, and also, no Camaros on the lots but Mustangs on the lots just points to the fact that all the Camaros are selling and the Stangs are not

 

The camaro looks more aggressive to me so it gets the exterior win but I haven't seen the interior of the mustang. Either way I'm not too much for either of the new body styles more of a luxury car instead of sport.

 

I think what he's saying is that it's a bad thing for a guy who really wants to get into a new Camaro. Someone who's jonesin' real bad for a new Camaro isn't going to find any solace in the fact that Ford has plenty of Mustangs on their lots. Only the fanboys care about who is outselling who. The rest of us just want our damn car.

 

especially in the headlights (I did not like the "droopy eyelid" look). I'd probably go Mustang for the front end.

the rear end- the taillights on the stang are weird. The angle thing is not necessarily bad but something's wrong there, imho- not sure what. But the camaro's rear, esp. with those randomly tacked-on reverse lights, gets no prize either, although I do like the shape and treatment of the main lights.

interior- haven't sat in either.

my verdict: mustang by 0.5.

I'm not in the market, so doesn't really matter, of course!

 

Yeah this is what I meant I know the Camaros are selling really good. But Ive seen more 2010 mustangs then the new Camaros. A guy in my unit has been driving to every Chevy dealership looking for a Camaro, he gave up and bought a mustang. Im just saying that the Camaro should be available more.

 

-100 for the giant Silverado 1500 sized bowtie they put on the grill of the 2010. That would be the FIRST thing to go if I had one.

 

I think the camaro looks alot nicer, but i also get to build them everyday so I do get sick of looking at them lol! Love what they did with it, but i've always been a chevy guy

 

the mustang looks damn good, not gonna lie. it is actually the only mustang that i would say that about, but man, that camaro is just short of perfect to me... Camaro hands down.
