Ok, I posted this in another forum and no luck. I have overhauled my gen 5, 5.3 to include the DOD delete kit from Texas Speed. Turned it over several times trying to get it pumping oil then started it. No oil pressure, found it had oil in the filter. Removed the valley cover, all O rings in place, Pulled the engine, barbell plug in place, changed it any way, replaced the o ring at the oil pick up also, still no oil pressure. Pulled the oil pump and replaced with new. I still get oil to the filter but none to the lifters or oil pressure sensor. And yes, valve cover removed and no oil at all.
