Why is this thread still around?? The new Camaro is going to have IRS case closed!! If you want a new car with a SRA get a new Mustang or get a low mileage used f-body! Thats that!!!!!

no actully not case closed. NOTHING on the Camaro has been confirmed other than the fact that i will be produced. and you brought up another good point to support my argument. the SVT Cobra. 1996-2002 had SRA, so ford decides to experiment with IRS. obviously, it was a hack because they went back to SRA.

Wrong, the Zeta platform has been and will be IRS.

There will be a number of cars built on this platform, and as such the economy of scale will work in GM's favor. It was designed as a fully independent AWD capable platform from the start, it survived cancellation to be reborn because the market demands sophistication. All Zeta cars will be IRS.

is it 2009 yet? no. so we dont know. i dont care what anyone has heard. it will probably be IRS. and it will probably be a fragile POS.
