I disagree. I've seen both the Challenger and the Camaro in person a few times now, and the Challenger looks huge by comparison. The Challenger also has boring slab-sided sides, with very little curves. I like the tail lights on the Challenger better, but that is about it. I was hoping this convertible concept might have some wider 1969-inspired tail lights, but it appears they kept the same ones that everyone complained about last time.

Well...lets see now....

I have a hardtop '92, a t-top '99.... and it would appear that I will be getting myself a convertible '09.

I liked the 4th gen better and would rather see a supped up 4th gen/Buggatti Veyron hybrid.

The new Camaro looks to much like a prototype/concept car.

I haven't seen it in person though so I can't put out a great opinion.

Considering the fact that I thought the Viper looked like a Nike shoe with a Hot Wheel paint job. After seeing it in person though I shut right the hell like I should have.

Keep dreaming!

My wife will be happy if it gets the 400 hp LS2 and not a 335-345-365 hp LS something like the new Grand Prix gets.

I hope they don't stinkball the 5th gen with less than 400 hp on a 6.0 and stick the Z28 with a 5.3 and give the SS a 6.0.

What I'd like to see:

300hp V6

400+hp Z28

500hp SS

and hope to God that everyone rises to the challenge.

Nice damn car. However, I'd like to see it with the top up. Normally, cars look hideous with the rag top. Unless of course its a retractable hardtop. I dont know why theyd make anything else these days?!

That is a gauge cluster, courtesy of the 2007 911 Turbo.

Kudos, to be honest though I think that T-Tops would look like crap. They should definately go with a T-Top, complete Targa like the Corvette. The shape of the 5th gen just doesn't have a small enough roof for a twin set-up.

I'd love to see a targa top. I'd settle for a nice big power sunroof though.

Put me down for one rag top. That same orange with black is just fine with me.

I am with nine ball though I would really like to see a targa top version. I dont think t-tops would look right on the new body style.

Having owned one many years ago, when I first saw the new Camaro, I was reminded of my old '73 Celica with two fewer headlights:

Hate to go against the faith, but I like the looks of the new Challenger better.

I'd actually be happy if car makers would start using wheels smaller than 26" or so .
