Default MacPherson strut/double wishbone?

In the May 2007 issue of Hot Rod magazine it states the 2009 camaro will have MacPherson struts with double wishbone front suspension and a multilink IRS. I'm looking for pics or link to the setups. Thanks.

The best pictures of the setup are found here:

http://www.peddersusa.com/Camaro_2009.htm

Those are the components found on the Holden Commodore, and the upcoming 2008 Pontiac G8.
But they will be little changed for Camaro.

BTW, don't ever believe anything you read in Hot Rod, or any magazine for that matter.

Didya notice how they said the Convertible Concept's stripes were black?
They are not black.
They are gunmetal, as reported in the GM Press Release, and in the Camaro Press kit.

But I guess Hot Rod would rather print their guess rather than take 5 seconds to locate the truth.

It looks like a MacPherson strut set up. I only see a lower a arm. No upper a arm. So, the double wishbone part of their statement was incorrect?

The front is a mac-strut design. The rear is a double wishbone if you can call the upper A-arm an "A-arm."

They obviously don't know one from the other. Unless they were referring to front/rear.

It is still called an A arm. They used to all be A arms. L shape is better for pass cars as we found out. I read a book that spec stated why but i cant remember Race cars remained A shaped.
