SLP and the new camaro
SLP and the new camaro I was wondering today if SLP will do anything with the new camaro. I'm sure they will offer parts, but I wonder if they will offer a complete camaro package that would be sold through dealers like the firehawk. SLP was responsible for the early SS and WS.6 and continued to work on the SS till 02. They also offered the Firehawk from 92 to 02. Now that the firebird is gone will they offer some sort of upgraded camaro or just continue to offer parts and performance packages for owners to intall. I for one would like to see SLP's CME be offered for 5th gen.
It's already been said by Scott Settlemire on SEVERAL occasions that there will NEVER be another SLP/GM deal like there was with the Camaro/Firehawk. SLP will for sure offer packages you can buy direct from them but you'll never see the 2nd sticker content again.
Because GM is going to do everything in house and not ship them off to another company for them to do "finish work" on. I don't remember his exact wording but it was pretty close to that.
