Hard to compare the concept car to the production version though.
Concept cars are on pieced-together versions of a Cadillac STS chassis (aka Sigma) with alot of fabrication. I believe the suspension and IRS on the concepts are also Sigma variants.
Production car is on the new Zeta chassis, which is a lot improved from the original Sigma that the concept's chassis is taken from.
I'm trying to talk my wife into wanting a vert when they are available myself! I didn't want a vert when I got my car cause of the weight, but these cars are gonna be heavy anyway...

What did you guys/ladies think of the interior layout?
Does the gauge cluster kinda remind you of the C3 dash?
Does it have some elbow room or does it feel like a cockpit in there?

I remember lutz saying something along the line of CTS-V suspension parts can fit the Camaro's chassis (and I assume are going to be used). Did you hear anything about this?
The cars are being engineered in Australia so I haven't really followed what is going on so much. I did give them data to give to the supplier AAM to determine which axle to put in the car. They seem a little more laid back over there, I'm interested to see if they meet program timing.

Driving position is good, seating is more upright and more comfortable. There will be more adjustability, so shorter and taller people can fit comfortably.
I'm not a big fan of the concept's gauges, but they're gonna change for the production car anyway.
Production chassis is Zeta, and its IRS and suspension was redeveloped fromthe ground up. This new IRS is currently under the Holden Commodore in Australia, and will be under the Pontiac G8 that we'll see here late this year.

I'm in the same boat for saving money, I'm half tempted to sell my Camaro just to kick start savings for this car, I'm THAT excited about it!!

I wish you could indulge more details, but I know the cars just skeletons of what they will be production time.
