Good News?
So, why is this good news? In my eyes, being a Chevrolet sales associate, at some point the 5.3 will reach maximum production. So boy and girls this allows a better possibility the 2008-09 F replacement vehicle will receive the 6.0. Why bring back a replacement vehicle with the same engine the car retired with? The big 7.0 in the Z06 just doesn't get the targeted fuel economy they need with this car. So, here is hoping for a minimum 400 h.p. SS.
GM missed the boat with the mid size truck. For years and years we have had great looking small trucks. For years and years they have been underpowered. Once upon a time GM painted an AWD version S-10 Black and installed a turbo in it. Every one sold, gone, but still valuable today.
Why is it GM has a hard time reading the public? SS Siverado, Trailblazer, SSR, all came to the table in the 45K range. Take a 30K decked out Colorado add a 303 hp. 5.3 to it, 34K sticker. No brainer, sell every damn one.
