hahahahhaa

the 3.9 is also out of production and has been replaced with the 3.6L DOHC motor.

id guess that on the camaro they would use the 3.6, or some version of it.

I then was curious, so I asked him, what V6 will they be using. Before I could finish my sentence, he shook his head no, there won't be a V6. I'm thinking to myself, huh? Then I asked him what engines will they be using. He told me the LS3. Could this be true? No V6 and a LS3 engine? I hope so on the LS3, but GM would be making a mistake if there's no V6 IMO.

I used to live in Bossier City... what tint shop were you at, and what dealership did this salesman work for?

I'm just writing back to defend myself, I didn't say anything bout' believing the salesman, that's the reason why I wrote what I was told, and ask every1 what they thought about it. Either way, nobody knows for certain, for all we know, it might get cancelled out b4 production starts, lol. Lets hope not.
And another thing, I see the LS3 as a primary candidate if anything, cause it's the vette's base engine.

there wont be any concrete info regarding this car until about 6 months before it arrives. unless you know someone who is working directly with this car everything is BS besides what we know now.

It takes a lot longer than 6 months to develop a car for production launch. There are lots of people working on it already, and there will be a V6. Powertrain choices are usually set at least 12-15 months in advance, though there are adjustments to output levels and smaller details here and there.

There will be a V6.

I don't remember where I heard this, or if its true, (anyone can make stuff up) but I'm under the impression the first 5,000 cars built would be V8s
