The Government is going to kill GM.

I just saw a piece of the new legislation to bring automakers up to 35mpg. It sounds like we are doomed in the future. I hate gas. I wish our engines ran off of water then would could give OPEC the finger!

This is a joke right...they are making automakers make more fuel efficient vehicles so that we do not have to import more foreign fuel from our enemies...WTF is ammatter with this world?

x2, I don't even bother replying anymore to most of these, whats the point everyone will just get on your *** because you actually think raising the gas economy is a good thing.

this is ridiculous.... gas prices....thats not the problem......50 to .75 cents more how about fuel prices to heat apartment building / commercial.... landowners are paying threw therir noses. a 40 unit complexusally burns 50,000 gallons a winter season,,, per building at an average. come on gas prices is the least of the problems...

road taxes is what drives it up.... each state is different.....$1.00 per gallon is what we pay as an average if not more.....

when we all go to the track we still pay the $6.00 to $9.00 a gallon and we dont even look back.

but WTF its just life..........
