Is the V6 really a cheaper alternative?

The OP has a good point. Is the V6 build cost about the same as the LS3? IMHO, a V6 car doesnt come close in comparison to a V8 sports car. It will never sound as good, lacks torque, & takes away from the overall thrill! The V6 versions are for people who cant afford the extra $$ & who lack the V8 passion.

Many V6's sound absolutely beautiful, and some sound like ****. The same goes for V8's. I can show you a '90 F150 that sounds like complete crap, and a Jaguar V6 that will make your eyes water with happiness. Generalizations lead to ignorance. I know first hand.

If you are really ridiculing(well at least making a crude, redneck attempt at doing so...) then you should try looking up facts first. The F150 is WAY WAY older than 20 years. Oh, btw, my sources are experience and time in the car world, plain and simple. What are yours, and how do they qualify you to try and ridicule ANYONE? Let me guess, your daddy bough you a muscle car picture book for your sixteenth and you take it as gospel?
