Default Anyone Else Hate The Gas Cap On The Passenger Side?

This really frustrates me as I am so used to and love pulling up to the pump and getting out and having it be right there. Now my *** has to pull up to the pump on the wrong side of the car and walk my lazy *** over and around the back end to the pump and do the duties on the passenger side

They need to put it behind the liecense plate, like on my old Cadillac. Best place ever, keeps that ugly gas door off the fender.

I know it sounds stupid but that's the thing I hate the most about the car. #1 its on the passenger side! #2 Its on the top of the quarter to collect all rain water. Can you say hello to RUST!! I see that being a huge design flaw.

I do not like that the GTO is on the pass side either. I like it being on the drivers side.

I couldn't give less of a damn. That time I spend driving a *NEW* Camaro will make up for it. I don't care if they put the gas door in the fender so you have to take the tire off to fill up. Man you guys bitch over anything. If you want it, great buy it and enjoy it. If your not going to buy shut up and envy all of us who have.

I'll make a safe bet that GM does this because they don't want to redesign the gas tank in order to sell it in europe. having it on the bumper behind the plate was nice but get in a rear end accident and it cost the insurance company more when they have to replace the gas tank for a small bump in the rear.... I'll take the lower insurance cost anyday.

It'd be nice if it was on the drivers side like my Silverado. That would avoid a few embarrassing moments when I forget.

I own two Holden-made Pontiacs and both have it on the passenger side, honestly it's nice. You don't have to worry about smacking the door of your nice new car on anything plus you can generally find a spot quicker as most other people have to pull in on the driver's side.

Exactly. In my old car it was on the passenger side and I NEVER had to wait to get a freaking pump. Plus I never had to worry about opening my door into the damn steel pipes.

i fill up at costco and they have it set up where it skips between drivers side pump and pass side pump. hard to explain, hope you understand what im getting at. but when gas was reallllllllllllllllllllly cheap there, all the driver side pumps were lined up real far and the pass side just pulled in gassed up n left. after 10 mins of waiting, i just pulled to a pass side one and pulled that nozzle as far as possible over my car. so if i could afford a new camaro (or when i get a Z in 2012) im gonna love that....but behind the license plate would be the ****

it really, honestly is a non-issue for me. i have real things to worry about.

if your love/hate for a car boils down to what side of the car the gas door is on, you are a retard. how much time are you spending pulling up to gas stations?! do you ever walk in to pay with cash or get a drink/food/take a leak? do you have to walk to the street/driveway/garage to get into your car? maybe it would be better to just put bed/tv beside your driverside parking spot so when you park your car you can roll onto the bed and wait till the next time you need to drive and its all right there! do you ever complain about having to walk to the bathroom when you need to **** or since walking to the bathroom is such a burden have you considered switching to depends?

as jay leno likes to put it "how fat and lazy are americans getting..." furious about walking 6 feet to the other side of the car.

gimme a break. find something worth arguing about!

Odd subject to make a poll for, but I prefer it on the passenger side. Most gas stations around me you can only drive into in one direction, and I never have to wait for a pump in my GTO since most other cars have it on the driver side.
