At Daytona Chevy announced the 1LE option for the 2018 ZL1. Keeping true to form this is a manual only road track beast. 2.9 sec faster at Milford than the standard ZL1.
Has upgraded suspension with all new bushings.
DSSV with adjustable dampers and ride height
19 X 12 and 19 X 11" wheels with 325 on rear and 305 up front
Lots of aero upgrades including a carbon fiber wing and complete new fascia
60lbs lighter
This thing is bad ***. Can't wait for the Ring time announcement.
127 trap times out of the A10 is nothing to sneeze at.
I bet it will be awesome. Wish the blower on the car was bigger, but I wouldn't touch the A10. I would go M6 all the way. Wayyyyy to much fun to miss out on.

Bigger is always better. But since you're talking drag racing Auto is always better too.
No doubt that the new A10 is the smarter, faster, and longer lasting alternative. But IDK if I could give up the manual transmission desire.
A10 gonna be mind blowing. It will take until 7TH GEAR to reach 1:1 it will be insane.
I hear you on the manual... gave mine up to try this out.
This thing stays above 5k in the powerband sweetspot all the way up. Hit's 200 in 10th gear.
The manual also does 0-60 in 1st gear which should help some 60' times.

Disappointed no NA z28 car. Hopefully in the future.
This has me slightly worried GM is having trouble meeting hp needs with the pushrod design while still meeting emissions these days. I hope im wrong.
Was really hoping for a hopped up lt1 or an lt7...oh well
I think we all wanted to see that. This is just an ~8k track package. We all know the LT5 DOHC engine is out there. The Zora should see this before the Camaro will.
Someone said it best, I read the other day, all Chevy does is make amazing track cars and I want to see a Camaro drag strip car.
I agree with this. Seems like they do alot for the road course guys but for every one of those guys you meet there are probably 20 more drag strip or 1320 fans. The new exorcist Camaro may be the answer to the new Demon but it's not really worth it. They should have offered a stripped down model SS Camaro built for a 1/4 mile and given people the option to buy out faster products to add later on or buy them all up front and installed on a new car then give the package a name of some sort.
