head gaskets/need vin code I have an 05 5.3l. I don't have the vin and apparently i have to know a certain letter to buy head gaskets (vin code b or t?? or something like that).
I think I've found the last 8 digits of it stamped on the back of the block, but not sure... they are...51265799.
autozone said they don't know which to give me without that certain letter. One is $45 per HG, one is $22 per hg.
Got any ideas??
