Reverse flow A/C Condenser?

Reverse flow A/C Condenser? HAs GM ever used a reverse flow A/C condenser? one that would have the inlet side at the bottom of the condenser and flow vapor through the bottom, and condense to liquid at the top? I just got asked this in my A/C class, and i cant find any info on it online. It doesent sound like it would be a system that would be utilized, but a few cars may have used it. Any help would be appreciated!
