Default Engine builder?

Can anyone suggest a good, trustworthy and cool engine builder in Houston Texas? I am doing a 6.0L nitrous motor for my truck and need someone to assemble the short block and some other work throughout the build. I have contacted a few well known places and tried to just talk with them about I want to do and none of them act like they want to do business. I'm not a tire kicker, but I'm not going to pay someone my hard earned cash without talking about it first. Everybody has acted like if I'm not going to just walk in and throw down $3-4K on blind faith, then I'm not worth talking to.

Erik at HKE in Houston. Send him an email and he will reply. He is very busy and doesn't answer the phone. Or send him an email and tell him the time to call you.
