hatch props???

hatch props??? ok so i switched my trans am's hatch. it had a formula hatch on it but i put a high rise trans am hatch on it and now my props won't hold it up.
i know its a little more weight than the formula hatch but i didnt think it would be a problem. i took the props off and tryed to compress them and i couldn't so im pretty sure they're good. so i guess my question is does the trans am hatch require a stronger hydrolic prop than the formula hatch? sorry for any spelling or grammer errors. thanks in advansed -brett.
