Anyone else....

set off car alarms when driving by? I noticed it a couple weeks ago when I heard weird noises when the windowns were down. Then a few times I let the hammer down driving past some cars and set the alarms off lol.

Makes me wonder how much louder it would have been if I did tds

I haven't set off any car alarms but I did set a 111.8 db @ 4200 rpms with a sound meter a few days ago. Pretty tame if you ask me but illegal in my state.

I bet if your were it the city and punched it that would set some off!!

Haha. It might but its not as loud as most... I'm only running lts, ory, to stock slp exhaust so it is pretty mild. I like it though, I can actually talk to people in the car. lol

Well thats no diff than min except I have a borla non adjustable. I set them off without punching it also. Its funny to see peoples reaction

My truck does it, but it has a pretty big hole in the I-pipe, so it makes sense. My car is stock, so it does nothing to car alarms except for the most ridiculously over-sensitive alarms (usually found on the crappiest car in the lot).

Actually happened yesterday. I was leaving a store and when I started my car it set off the alarm for a scooter that was parked about 12 feet away. Then of course the alarm went off again when I backed out of my spot, haha.
