Guess you got a set that was made on a Friday afternoon.... as I said I have 219,000 + miles on a set and they look great...I would have called Pacesetter or the vendor that you purchased them from if I had that problem. I know at least a dozen people that have them and have had no problems with them. If you go by a Rolls-Royce dealership you will notice that their service departmant is just as bizzy and your local Chevy dealers. Not everything is perfect in this world.

I'd still take a set of ceramic coated over painted, I just wouldn't recommend anyone expect the coating to last forever unless they just weekend warrior their car.

Not sure if the Y pipe is ceramic coated too or not. But every review I have read, the people say the fitment is great, and nothing has to be removed from the car to install the BBK's. I'm planning on going the BBK route or TSP soon, but for the price I think its hard to beat BBK.

Take a look at Post #14 in the following thread...

If you choose this method you don't need to spend a dime on extensions or worry about splicing any wires.
Had I known this when I did my LT Install, this is what I would have done instead of spending the cash on extensions.

I am assuming you went with the pacesetters & TSP Y. Pretty sure they are a slip fit design, which might make it a PITA to take apart later on. Wanna post up some pics when you get them? Also how much ground clearance that Y has, I heard it hangs lower unless they corrected it. Thanks.
