Default Boost Gauges

I am gathering parts for a turbo kit for the GTO...I was looking at boost gauges. Whats the preferred, mechanical or electrical, or do they even make electrical boost gauges? I already have an electrical oil pressure gauge. Any and all advice will be greatly appreciated?

dont see why you cant tap into the MAP sensor for an electrical set up. I've only used mechanical, but electrical should work.

I want to keep it simple and what works. If mechanical is easy and works just as well it doesnt matter to me. If they are the same as far as hook up and etc..then i will buy the cheaper of the two...

If you want cheap, I bought a boost/vacuum gauge a harbor freight. You can change the backlight 7 different colors. It worked ok for me. If you can hook into the MAP sensor, I would say go for it cause wires are easier to route.
