nostalgia I was wondering? Is there anybody that used this site from the start, went away and has now come back with a sense of nostalgia for the fourth gens. The cars at their youngest are nine years old so if you could even afford one at that time at the age of nineteen or twenty you would now be 29 or 30, anyone looking back thinking damn, I wish I still had that car!

I've been here on and off from the start, despite some of the BS this is still the best place to get tech. I ordered mine in Jan 1998 (I was 29) and don't miss it at all because I still have it.

I never left. I've been on this site since the day it opened, and LS1.com before that. I've had at least one LS1 F-body in my possesion at almost every moment since July of 1999, and before that I had a 3rd gen.

I bought my Camaro new in June of 2001. It's hard to believe that it is close to 10 years old now. I used to surf the board looking for tech tips long before I signed up.
After I modded my car, and was happy with the results, I left the board for a few years. I eventually came back, and have enjoyed the site ever since.
I have no immediate plans to sell my car. It's too much fun to drive. It has been the best car I have ever owned.

I recently came back to this forum, mostly since I was looking for a new car, not sure of what I wanted. Parting with my Z28 was rough, and I found myself here and there wanting another one, or SS or WS6. These feelings have gone away though, rather quick, with reminders that not everything was so wonderful with that car. I'm more of the "been there, done that, now let's move on" type.
Bought a brand-new 2000 Z28 and really started using LS1tech, but had been on LS1.com even before that. Was off and on, but now have another LS1 Trans Am, so more frequent. It's a great site!
