ls1 VS ls6 visual difference?

ls1 VS ls6 visual difference?

is there any way to tell if someone opens the hood on a car and right away definitively tell if it is an ls1 or an ls6?

there is reason behind why i ask this question its not just a shoot the **** question

Not really other then seeing if the engine has 243 heads and a LS6 intake (no egr) but why would it matter?

well if you wanna know, im going to look at a t/a, the guy selling it says it has a new ls6 crate engine with a h/c package, i for myself wanted to see if there was a way to see if it was legit

I have never bought a crate engine but I would think he would have paperwork to prove it an there would be a serial/part # on the block for warranty purposes.
