Has anyone installed a vintage air unit or smaller hvac box
I have a 2000 z28 and have removed the entire hvac system. It is just too hot here in Texas to enjoy the car in the summer time. I do not want to give up the room under the hood since it makes it so easy to check and change plugs. Has anyone installed a unit that fits totally under the dash on the inside? Thanks for the help!

I put vintage air in my 67, I was wondering how well it would work in my 89 to clean up the engine bay and make room for my future down pipe.
The only thing I don't like about the system in my 67 is that the blower motor is noisy. I don't know if it's normal though for the fan motors they use. If it is maybe a different one can be adapted

I've installed multiple systems. U can get them with ports staight on firewall, side exit and run everything through kick panel then behind fenderwell etc. U can install them however u want. Go with the electrical operated unit for sure. Cable controlled units suck
