Question ls2 drop in?

In February im planning on getting a 02 camaro and am wanting to take the ls1 and trans out and put it into my 66 chevy c10....and i want to put something bigger in the camaro.....so will a ls2 and trans out of a gto or corvette just drop in pretty easy or will there be some issue? All ive found so far is i will need to extend the wiring for some of the sensors.

Are there any other issues i may run into?

You have to get knock sensor and cam sensor extensions plus a convertor box for the 58x to 24x crank

Other than that it should just be a pretty simple swap?

Pretty much. If the ls2 is already a 24tooth then you just need the extension
