looking at silverado SS

looking for a silverado ss for a new daily driver. looking at the AWD ones also. Not going to mod at all maybe just a catback that's it.

How are these trucks for daily drivers? is there anything I should specifically look at when I look for one problem wise? I'm pretty new to these trucks.

I assume you're looking at one for a winter vehicle, but why not just get a Z71 for four wheel drive, more aggressive tire options, better ground clearance and a cheaper price tag?
