I have heard that TSP can tune out my emissions code for a fee if I were to purchase a pair of headers from them....I got a real problem in Texas with emissions and I would LOVE to put on some headers for a good amount of horsepower. The "best" tuner we have in town can tune our cars for great performance...but still can't quite tune out the emissions, making it a real headache when inspection comes up...any feedback would be appreciated.

That sounds quite strange, as tuning for OBD-scan emissions readiness for cat/AIR/EGR delete is pretty basic stuff. This was one of the first things I learned to do with LS1Edit back in ~2002; the power tuning part is what really takes knowledge and experience.

I would definitely recommend someone with better abilities then, TSP would be a great choice.

I second that motion ^

clearing codes , defeating mil lights , removing top speed limiters , changing fan settings are the easiest things to learn as there is no theory or crunching of data behind it , very straight forward.

Yeah, like these other two guys said, I would find another place to get it tuned. I wouldn't let that guy tune my lawn mower for free lol

There's a million tuners in Tx, you shouldn't have any problem finding somebody.
