Map sensor wiring

Using LS3 Map sensor (and intake), with earlier LS harness...LS3 connector I purchased to match sensor has all wires the same color. Need help with figuring out connection...pictured is the connector (wire colors), from the LS1 sensor (disregard wire color on eng wires just used for lengthening).

Can't you just match them by position? The left wire will go to where the gray wire originally went, center to green, and right to orange.

That was my first thought and I may just do that...didn't want to assume that logic was correct without asking for some experienced advice.
