Any pump gas available to you will be fine with that low of a compression ratio.

That should be dependent on your tune. If you really want to keep detonation at a minimum, run a meth/alky system.

You could probably run 87 if you're just cruising around, and have a good tune. 93 octane would be fine for spirited driving. Can switch to E85 if you need a little more or if you're running too hot.

I've always been curious from an engine builder's / tuner's perspective on octane for LSx engines. My assumption is that the car should be tuned to desired power level for the airflow and dynamic compression ratio, but I don't know if they consider tuning a car to lets say 91 octane in the usa instead of the typical 93? With gas prices being so wild I want to save money where I can and not overspend one fuel that my engine doesnt need.
